Cost £40 Course Syllabus: Ceramics_combined.pdf Exploring Indian Textiles Using Recycled MaterialsThis course is sutable for the beginner and more experienced textile artist, as we will be exploring a wealth of posibilities. We will learn about printing with traditional Indian printing blocks, dye fabric and discover how applique kantha and shisha (Indian mirror tiles ) are stitched. The rich colours and textures of Indian textiles will inspire us to design and create a personal piece of work. A basic sewing kit (pins, needles and threads) is all that is needed for the first two sessions.

This course will introduce you to a number of approaches to life drawing with the emphasis on the development of spontaneity and freedom of expression. For a complete beginner this is a valuable introduction to life drawing, while the more experienced will enjoy fresh challenges and revisit fundamental principles. It is also an excellent opportunity to build your portfolio in preparation for University or Foundation Courses. Cost includes model fee but excludes materials.
